RIDE. RELAX. REPEAT. The Shimano Volcanic Epic, presented by Tineli, is a unique five day mountain bike stage race held across 200km’s of New Zealand’s spectacular North Island geothermal region.
The Age Group Road National Championships including the Para Cycling Championships will be held in Cambridge from 19 - 21 April 2024. This event will see the best Age Group (Youth, Junior, Senior, Masters and Para) riders compete for Time Trial and Road Racing titles.
The Mackenzie race takes you on a journey around one of New Zealand's most scenic lakes, Lake Tekapo. For this day only you will have access to private high country stations allowing you the opportunity of a lifetime to cycle your way around this incredible location.
The Craters Classic MTB Race will take place on the 27th of April 2024. The Get Set Aratiatia Adventure is approximately 22km taking in mostly grade 2 tracks. The MB Century Wairakei Wizzer is approximately 30-35kms long and takes in the highlights of Craters Mountain Park.
Around Brunner Cycle Ride will take place on the 4th of May 2024. 2019 saw Around Brunner have a major change, with the Start and Finish being at Moana Hotel Lake Brunner after 12-years of starting and finishing in Greymouth.

The team from the Whaka100 present the Highlander MTB Challenge! The event aims to pack as much fun and flow into one event as possible without to much hardcore.

Bridge to Bridge "North" is due to take place on the 16th of June 2024. Now 3 mountain bike rides on the Northern Bank of the Waimakariri River.
The South Island School Road Championships will be held in Christchurch from the 6 July 2024 - 7 July 2024.
The North Island School Road Championships will be held in Cambridge on 6 - 7 July 2024 and will include the following events:
Individual Races:
U20, U17, U16, U15, U14, U13 boys and girls
Teams Race:
Senior (U20), Junior (U16) and Year 7 & 8
Round 2 of the Cycling New Zealand National Track Series will take place from the 13 - 14 July 2024. EVENTS

The Skoda North Island Schools Cyclo Cross Championships will take place on the 21st of July 2024. Cyclo cross is a form of bicycle racing consisting of multiple small laps through terrain consisting of pavement, grass, hills and obstacles.
The Skoda South Island Schools Cyclo Cross Championships will take place on the 21st of July 2024. Cyclo cross is a form of bicycle racing consisting of multiple small laps through terrain consisting of pavement, grass, hills and obstacles.
The Southern Tour will take place in 2024 from 31 August to 1 September 2024. Saturday 31 August:
Stage 1: Time Trial
Stage 2: Criterium
Sunday 1 September:
Stage 3: Hill Climb
Stage 4: Road Race
The Cyclng New Zealand NZSS Northern Tour 2024 event will take place from 7-8 September.
The event includes 3 stages; an Individual Time Trial, Hill Climb and Criterium.
The National School Road Championships will take place from the 29th of September to the 1st of October 2024.
The National School MTB Championships will be held in Christchurch from the 7 - 10 October and he event will include Enduro, Downhill, Cross Country and Cross Country Relay events. At minimum competiters must be enrolled in Year 7.
The combined South Island and National School Track Championships will be held in Invercargill on 8- 9 October 2024.
The Ride Holidays Karapiro 100k Flyer will return on the 12th of October 2024. The course is a 100km loop starting and finishing at the Mighty River Domain. Join hundreds of cyclists on this cycle challenge and enjoy the quiet country roads and beautiful Waikato countryside.
The Whaka 100 will take place from the 25th to the 27th of October 2024.
The Whaka 100 proudly holds the reputation of one of the toughest mountain bike marathons in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Gentle Annie is a challenging 132km bike ride from Taihapi to Ohiti Berg near Hastings in the Hawkes Bay.
The course follows the Gentle Annie road through rugged farmland and high country sheep stations.
The 5 Passes Tour is a four day cycling tour where every facet is fully supported and catered for with over 20 support crew to look after your every need. Travelling from Christchurch on the east coast of the South Island, through to the Alpine Village of Hanmer Springs.
The Bridge to Bridge mountain bike event will return on the 1st of December 2024.
The legendary Tour of Taranaki Cycle Challenge returns in 2025 and takes riders on a striking road ride around Taranaki Maunga. The pillar event, the Spark Around the Mountain has 148km to tackle in one day. Looking for something different? Check out the Pukeiti 100. . .
The Queenstown Park Station Fun Ride, will take place on the 16th of February 2025. The Queenstown Park Station Fun Ride is a free community event and an amazing opportunity to mountain bike through the stunning Queenstown Park Station. Choose from the 18km Station Ride or the 13.
