An iconic New Zealand recreational Cycling event staged in rural Taranaki with participants doing 1 lap of Mt Taranaki/Egmont a distance of 148km. Entrants can do Solo 2 laps, 148kms, 74kms or E Bike, there is also a 3 person Solo category with the 148km distance where the team time is based on the 3rd rider to finish.

There are team relay categories for both the 148km and 74 km distances which are popular. There is also the Accumulator where riders are picked up at the 5 relay change over points on route.

If Mountain biking is your gig then try our 30km or 50km cross country challenge which takes you out and back to the lake Mangamahoe Mt Bike tracks.

Next year will also see our second year of the Fantastic prizes including a trip for 2 to Tahiti for 7 nights including entry into la Ronde Tahitienne next August 2020. Food and drink for sale and live entertainment all afternoon leading up to prize giving at 5.00pm.
