The XTERRA Rotorua Festival 2024, will take place on the 6th of April.
The XTERRA Rotorua Festival offers multiple events from the Xterra Triathlons to three Trail Run or Walk distances, a 26km mountain bike ride and a duathlon.
The Taranaki 6 Hour Adventure Race will take place on the 6th of April 2024. The actual details of the course will not be given until just before the race.
The event is an adventure race in which teams navigate their way to checkpoints to earn points.
The Porirua Grand Traverse will take place on the 7th of April 2024. Established in 2006, the “PGT” is a true festival of fitness showcasing Porirua’s spectacular hills, harbour and coastline.
The Kaikoura Adventure Race will take place on the 19 - 21st April 2024. Please refer to Facebook page for further information.
The 6+6 Maxis Projects Adventure Race is taking place from the 20th - 21st of April 2024. The 6+6 Maxis Projects Adventure Race hosted by the Southland Triathlon and Multisport Club is a two staged adventure race.
The Rangitikei Adventure Race, taking place on the 11th of May 2024, is an adventure race based around different sections of the Rangitikei River. The event will be run in a rogaine style format in teams of 2 - 4.
The 3D Rotorua Multisport Festival will take place on the 2nd of June 2024. The festival offers 30km and 50km Multisport Events. The 50km multisport stages include a 9km paddle, 30km MTB and 10. 5km run. The 30km multisport challenge includes a 4. 5km paddle, 21km MTB and 5.
Save the date for the Peak to Pub multisport event at Mount Hutt on the 14th of September 2024. The event takes participants from the summit of Mount Hutt to the Blue Pub in Methven.
The annual multisport event for women only, Spring Challenge South Island will return from the 27-29th of September 2024. The South Island event will take place in the Tasman region. The annual event is designed by endurance athlete Nathan Fa’avae, who is a 6-time Adventure Racing World Champion.
The Motu Challenge wil take place in Opotiki on the 12th of October 2024. The event offers a multisport race as well as the Motu 160 MTB and Road Bike Challenge as well as short and long duathlon options.
The Big Bang Adventure Race will return in 2024 on the 2nd of November.
Challenge yourselves in teams of 2 or 4 and mountain bike, hike and navigate to checkpoints and transition areas, covering around 30-50 km in a time of between approximately 5-8 hours.
