The Dirt Duathlon Series is made up of 3 mini adventure races taking place in the Wellington / Horowhenua regions between June and August. Race 1 of the Series will take place in Waitarere on the 20th of June.

The Canterbury Adventure Race will take place on the 27th of August 2022. The Canterbury Adventure Race is a 3 or 6 hour adventure race starting from a mystery location somewhere on the Peninsula, within 1 hours drive of Christchurch.
Save the date for the Peak to Pub multisport event at Mount Hutt on the 17th of September 2022. The event takes participants from the summit of Mount Hutt to the Blue Pub in Methven, a descent of 1,786m.
The North Island Spirited Women - All Women's Adventure Race will take place in stunning central Hawkes Bay from Friday 30 September to Sunday 2 October 2022. Teams of four women will take part in a short, medium or long course adventure in the great outdoors.
The annual multisport event for women only, Spring Challenge South Island will return on 30 September 2022 - 2 October 2022. The South Island event will take place in Te Anau. The annual event is designed by endurance athlete Nathan Fa’avae, who is a 6-time Adventure Racing World Champion.
The inaugural Clifftop Challenge takes place on the 8th of October 2022. The event includes multisport, duathlon, MTB and trail run options in and around stunning Le Bons Bay, Banks Peninsula.
The Motu Challenge takes place in Opotiki on the 15th of October 2022. The event offers a multisport race as well as the Motu 160 MTB and Road Bike Challenge as well as short and long duathlon options.
The Salmon Run multi-sport event will be held on the 15th of October 2022. The event includes a multisport event, a half marathon trail run and short and long duathlon options.
Spring Challenge is heading to Napier this October for the North Island Women's Adventure Race. The annual adventure race event for women only, is designed by endurance athlete Nathan Fa’avae, who is a 6-time Adventure Racing World Champion. Nathan and his wife Jodie run the infinitely popular Spring Challenges.
The Big Bang Adventure Race will return in 2022 on the 5th of November.
Challenge yourselves in teams of 2 or 4 and mountain bike, hike and navigate to checkpoints and transition areas, covering around 30-50 km in a time of between approximately 5-8 hours.
Established in 1991, the Crazyman is one of NZ's longest running multisport events. Based around the icon outdoor elements of Wellington's Hutt City this 54k scenic tour showcases the hills, beaches, harbour and river that make our Capital the outdoor wonderland that it is.
The Le Bons Challenge is a new Multisport event coming in 2022 on the 11th of December! The event will include Kayaking, Mountain Biking and a Trail Run. There are more details to come so stay tuned.
GeoQuest is New Zealand's Newest Adventure Race!
Mountain Designs GeoQuest 48hr Adventure Race is the ultimate test of your physical and mental limits, coming to Hawke's Bay in New Zealand in 2023. Teams of 4 will enter in one of three categories; Premier (i. e. Mixed, All-Female or All-Male.
Held every February, the Kathmandu Coast to Coast race starts on the West Coast, at Kumara Beach and traverses the width of the South Island, crossing the main divide and finishing on the East Coast with the finish at the Pier on New Brighton Beach in Christchurch.
New Zealand’s North Island is awash with adventure and our route seeks to join the dots between many of its most treasured locations, through a multi-sport adventure tour-de-force featuring running, hiking, a huge chunk of insanely good gravel biking and a hearty dose of sea kayaking.
The Te Anau Enduro is a lap-style multisport event where competitors complete as many laps as they can in a set time-frame. Competitors transition through a central transition area between every lap. Here they can refuel, rest and or tag a team-mate. Kayak Run or MTB.

The Porirua Grand Traverse will return in 2023 on the 2nd of April.
Established in 2006, the PGT is a grand tour of Porirua’s spectacular hills, harbour and coastline.
The Nugget Multisport Festival will return on the 13th of May 2023. The Festival includes the Full Nugget Multisport Race, Half Nugget Duathlon, 23km Adventure Run / Walk and the 10km or 6km Off-Road Run/Walk.
The 3D Rotorua Multisport Festival is going to take place on the 5th of June 2023. There are four Multisport Events combining paddle, mountain bike and run disciplines over 20km, 30km and 50km distances which can be completed solo or in a team.
