Fitness challenge events such as obstacle courses and stair climb challenges have become hugely popular in recent years. Check out some of the super fun “Challenge” events around our beautiful country and challenge yourself, be inspired and get active!
8 Challenge events
Muddy Good Run is exactly that, a Good Muddy Run. We build mud pits, slippery slides, mud and water slides, cars to climb over, cars to crawl under, containers to scale, hay bales to get over, camo net crawls, cargo net climbs and a run and crawl in between.
Sport Tasman has a virtual event to help keep people active during isolation. The idea of this event is to see how many peaks in the Tasman region you can reach over the 10 days in dedication to some one special to you.
The Tough Guy and Gal Wellington Obstacle challenge will take place from the 14-17th of October 2020.
The Mudder Obstacle Challenge will take place on the 17th of October 2020. The event is held on a Rangitikei Farm with the course winding its way through a working sheep and beef farm.
The Junior Tough Guy and Gal Palmerston North Obstacle challenge will take place on the 19th of October 2020. The junior event is open to both male and female competitors who are 7 to 12 years of age.
The Junior Tough Guy and Gal Hawke's Bay Obstacle challenge will take place on Wednesday 21st of October. The junior event is open to both male and female competitors who are 7 to 12 years of age.
The Tough Guy and Gal Rotorua Obstacle challenge will take place from the 25-28th October 2020.
The Flemington Mud Run takes place on Sunday 22nd of November. There are 3 distances on offer, plenty of obstacles and a whole lot of mud! It's a fun run for ages 5+ and all abilities.
