The Counties Cycle Classic is the Rotary Club of Pukekohe Inc. major fund raiser with 100% of profits going back into the community. The event has been going since 2017 run initially on country roads west of Pukekohe, then on the Pukekohe V8 track which closed early last year.

This year’s Counties Cycle Classic, taking place on the 10th of November, is heading back to the picturesque Franklin countryside for a repeat of last year’s successful event. Home base is at the Otaua Hall on Maioro Road south of Waiuku. Running round a 15km course, with magnificent views of the mighty Waikato River, there will be three options, two circuits for beginners, three for e-bikes, and six circuits for serious riders.
