Ride the Wilderness is a Mountain Bike Ride on the West Coast Wilderness Trail on the 16th November 2024.

This event gives riders the opportunity to see the West Coast beauty racing the fantastic West Coast Wilderness Trail.

This is a Grade 2 ride and has everything from lakes, rivers, creeks, board walks, single tracks, historic bridges, forestry, wetlands, reservoirs, water races you name it - it’s all here, it is truly an awesome ride and a great opportunity to race it.

Ride the Wilderness has four magnificent events all in one day:

The Epic - Ross to Greymouth 126km

The Challenge - Hokitika to Greymouth 95km

The Classic - Cowboy Paradise to Greymouth 59km

The Cruise - Kumara to Greymouth 21km

Four Great Rides, with competitors generally doing it as an individual from all four locations or a Team of 2 from Cowboy Paradise or Ross, or a Team of 4 or 2 from Ross.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an Elite, or first-time rider - there is a challenge here for you. First time racers and younger riders, we recommend the Kumara to Greymouth ride.

All rides finish in Greymouth.
