Skyline Challenge Martinborough is a community fundraising event for The Martinborough Lions and offers a number of distance options for mountain bike riders, runners and walkers. 

Set on the private farmland of the historic Huangarua, Puruatanga and Oystershell farms, the courses are designed to make the most of the hilly terrain for expert athletes, provide a challenge for weekend athletes and there is also an easier course for novices. There is a kids 3km MTB course over flat terrain for riders 8 years and under. 

The 34 kilometre MTB and run takes you to the ‘skyline’. Heading to the north of Martinborough, you will be rewarded with magnificent panoramic views of the South Wairarapa.
