Tour of New Zealand 2021

Bike, Road
Glenorchy (start location) Otago
Entry fee $950 plus $250 (min) for a chosen charity Ride 518km from Glenorchy, Otago to Wellington

The 6th Tour of New Zealand is an 8 stage 518km event that takes riders on a Tour de France style event with the difference you choose to race the course or simply ride the course. All riders are timed. Podium finishers and spot prizes include the Honda Jazz Lead car.

The organisers have chosen the 6th Tour course with several stages in the mountains followed by an afternoon on day 4, “on board peloton Party” courtesy of Kiwi Rail, travelling through the Southern Alps on the Tranz Alpine Express to Christchurch. Heading north the Tour concludes with 2 stages riding amongst vineyards, high country farms and bays and beaches to the seaside town of Picton. After crossing the Cook Strait into Wellington the climax criterium of the Tour gives riders the thrill of riding in the heart of the capital City Wellington at the invitation of the New Zealand Parliament where our Member of Parliament will host us inside the Parliament for the final Prize giving.

Entries open 31st March 2020. Limited to 250 riders.
