The City to Surf Tauranga - Mt Maunganui Fun Run Walk will return on the 10th of November 2024. The event offers a half marathon, 11km and 5km. All distances can be run or walked. 

The City to Surf 11km course starts outside the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club and heads over the Harbour Bridge, down Totara Street, through Coronation Park, along Pilot Bay, around the base track of the Mount before finishing on the main beach outside the Mount Surf Club.

The City to Surf Half Marathon starts outside the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club on Keith Allen Drive and takes in the Waikareao Estuary boardwalk, returning along the Takitimu Drive walkway, heading over the Harbour Bridge, along Pilot Bay, around the beautiful base track of the Mount before finishing on the main beach outside the Mount Surf Club.
