The Omataroa 8k Fun Run offers an 8km and 20km run or walk at Lake Matahina, Whakatane on the 20th of March 2021. Starting from Matahina Dam, the 8km on-road course will take you along the lake's edge along Rototaha Rd and onto Galatea Rd, while the off-road 20km heads to Omataroa Forest to end at the finish line at Tuariki Marae. All proceeds from the event will go to Tuariki Marae.
