Pegasus Bay Vine Run 2024

Run, Walk, Fun Run, Trail Run
Waipara Valley Canterbury
From $40 to $110 6km, 10km & Half Marathon

The Vine Run is coming back and is due to take place on the 28th of January 2024.

Ivan Donaldson, co-founder of Pegasus Bay along with his wife Christine, practiced as a neurologist in Christchurch for many years and was also involved in the establishment of the Institute. The Vine Run will help provide the Institute with vital funding to continue its ground-breaking research into neurological disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and multiple sclerosis.

Pegasus Bay winery is a family affair, and one of Ivan & Chris’s sons Mike, along with his sister in law Di, are race directors for the event.

The Vine Run has 6km & 10 km courses available, which entrants may either walk or run as well as a half marathon course. There really is something for all levels of fitness.

All courses take you through the stunning Pegasus Bay vineyards and surrounding land, before finishing on the lawns in front of the winery where people can relax, listen to live music and enjoy refreshments. There will be food trucks and a bar, and people are also welcome to bring their own picnic. This is a fantastic opportunity to get behind the scenes at Pegasus Bay and provide much needed funding for the NZBRI. Supporters are also welcome to attend on the day.

Entries are strictly limited. For more information and to register see www.vinerun.co.nz
