The Sun to Surf Half Marathon presented by Surf & Sand Beachfront Resort starts from Whakatāne and finishes on the white sands of Ōhope Beach. Taking place over Easter on the 11th of April, the event offers distances catering to all abilities from the Half Marathon to 10km, 5km and the 1km kids run.
