The T42 will take place on the 4th of May 2024.

The iconic event takes place in beautiful Tongariro National Park and offers trail run and walking options as well as a mountain bike or eBike off-road adventure. 

Distances offered include a marathon trail run as well as a number of shorter distances that can be run or walked, including 24km, 11km and 6km. 

The 46km Mountain Bike ride is based around the 42 Traverse track, known to many mountain bikers as the best one day mountain bike trails in the country. The 42 Traverse is a historic logging road and is undulating with a vertical meter gain of 880m. There are a few technical bits and a handful of short river crossings.
