The Takahe to Akaroa road relay will take place on the 1st of October 2022. The event incorporates the classic 8-person relay from Takahe to Akaroa domain. Eight people each run a single lap in the 8-lap 76km course. Distances of each leg range from 6.8km to 10.7km and include some flat sections, undulating hills and the challenging hills of Banks Peninsula. In addition there are 2-person and 4-person relay options. 

The 6 person relay from Allandale to Cooptown is a 40.7km course that is ideal for runners not quite ready to tackle the challenging hills of the classic relay.
