The U18 Junior Cross Country Race, due to take place on the 4th of September at Hansen Park, Ōpāwa, has been cancelled due to Covid-19 rstrictions.

Every August, several hundred youth runners meet to enjoy the flat fast course around Hansen Park. ​The 2km race is for under 12's and the 3km race is under 14 to under 18 grades.
