The Whangarei Run/Walk Festival takes place on the 15th of September 2024. The event includes a half marathon, 8.5km and 4km fun run and walk as part of the Sport Northland Run/Walk Series. The Half Marathon offers harbour and coastal views and takes in the Town Basin Sculpture Garden, Te Matau A Pohe Bridge and Kotuitui Whitinga Footbridge.
