WhyWomenRun is a fun run or walk for women only held in Auckland Domain. The event offers a 10km, 5km as well as a junior dash. Both the 10km and 5km can be run or walked.

The 45th annual Y Women's Event aims to encourage women of all ages, from all walks of life and with varying levels of fitness, to enjoy the experience of completing a 5 km or 10 km race in a friendly, non-confrontational environment.
