The Xterra Auckland Trail Run Series is a series of six trail runs that take place in and around Auckland during the winter months. The series aims to encourage people to give trail running or walking a go and to get out and about during the colder months. All events in the series offer a short and medium run or walk as well as a long and super long trail run.

Race Two of the Xterra Auckland Trail Run Series has a new date of 13th of June to be held at Waitawa Regional Park. Made up of three small peninsulas Waitawa boasts outstanding views across the Firth of Thames on every peak.
