Kinloch Triathlon Festival 2025
The Kinloch Triathlon Festival will take place From Saturday the 15th to Sunday the 16th of February 2025.
The Erin Baker Standard Distance Triathlon consists of a 1500m swim, 40km bike and 10km run.
The Sprint Distance is half of a standard distance Tri at 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run and has been the most popular Kinloch race for many years.
The Youth Triathlon for 8-16 year olds and Try a Tri event also consists of a 300 swim, 10km bike and 2.5km run course.
The Splash’n’dash aquathon for kids under 8 years old is a 100m swim in shallow water parallel to the beach followed by a 1km run.
The Kinloch Tri also offers a Triathlon NZ National Aquathlon Championships with U16, U19 and open categories. The U16 event is a 250m swim and 2.5km run and the U19 event is a 500m swim & 2.5km run. The open category is a 1km swim and 5km run.
In addition, standalone Open Water swim distances are offered including 750m, 1.5km and 3km distances.
