From $48.40 to $71.80 6 yrs: 50 swim & 1.5km run. 7 yrs: 50m swim, 4km bike, 1.5km run. 8-10 yrs: 75m swim, 4km bike, 1.5km run. 11-15yrs: 150m swim, 8km bike, 1.5km run.

The Mt Maunganui Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon will take place on the 1st of December 2024.

Open to Kiwi kids of all sporting abilities the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is a fun day out for kids, parents and families. Participants get to swim, cycle, and run their way around age appropriate courses, either as an individual or as part of a team of two. 

The Mt Maunganui Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon will begin with the swim leg in the indoor pool at the Baywave Aquatic Centre where the pool is 25m in length, with a depth of 0.8m in the shallow end and 2.0m in the deep end. The Transition area is located adjacent to the Baywave Aquatic Centre car park. The bike leg is around the streets surrounding Arataki Park, and the run leg is around Arataki Park itself.

The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is designed for Kiwi kids aged 6-15 years to help them stay active and healthy through a programme of participation. The series has been running since 1992 and is a rite of passage for Kiwi kids, with close to half a million Kiwi kids having given it a TRY.
