The Canterbury Adventure Race will take place on the 19th of August 2023.

The Canterbury Adventure Race is a 3 or 6 hour adventure race starting from a mystery location somewhere on the Peninsula, within 1 hours drive of Christchurch. Competitors will trek and bike their way through native bush, streams, farmland and trails before reaching the finish. The course will be kept secret until the day before the race and you will receive your maps with your race packs so you can plan your strategy and route choice.

The 9 hour event is designed to be a challenging but achievable event for all competitors with a reasonable level of fitness and some navigational competency. To complete the 9 hour event you will need to be able to run/jog 20km off-road, and mtb 50km on 4wd trails and singletrack.
