The Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon will take place on the 3rd of November 2024. Distances offered include Marathon, Half Marathon, 11km, 5km Family and a Kids Marathon and Wheelchair Marathon.

The marathon course begins in Devonport on Auckland's North Shore and takes participants through Takapuna to the Smales Farm Bus Station where it joins the Busway southbound to the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Participants will run across the Harbour Bridge then past Westhaven Marina, the Viaduct Harbour before heading out along Auckland City's waterfront. Once runners reach St Helier's Bay they will return via the same course to the Viaduct Harbour for a finish at Victoria Park.

The Half Marathon follows the same route as the marathon from Devonport to the Harbour Bridge, past Westhaven Marina and the Viaduct Harbour before finishing at Victoria Park.

The 11km traverse begins at Smales Farm Bus Station, crosses the Harbour Bridge, taking in Westhaven Marina before finishing at Victoria Park.

The 5km race begins in the Wynyard Quarter and finishes at Victoria Park.

All distances can be run or walked.
