The Lake Taupo Across the Lake Swim, is back and due to take place on the 24th of February 2024.

The Lake Taupo Across the Lake Swim is an open water swimming event. There are three course options available. The full across the lake swim is a 4.2km swim starting at Acacia Bay and finishing at 3 Mile Bay. The 2km and 1km swim options both start and finish at 3 Mile Bay. The annual event is organised by the Lake Taupo Rotary and any proceeds from the day will go towards community projects in the region.
